Paston Students Shine on Stage The theatrical skill and ability of Paston Sixth Form College students is well known within the community, through their involvement with The Far East Theatre Company. They have a reputation for performing excellent shows, that entertain students, staff and the public throughout the year. This year, through Shakespeare productions, students have shown how engaged, talented and hardworking they are.

Outside of college, students still continue to show these attributes, staring in different productions across the county this April.

At Sheringham Little Theatre, Paris and Chloe Chandler have roles in ‘Evita’, with Paris playing the lead, Eva Peron, and Chloe as Peron’s former mistress. Evita runs from the 2nd through till the 9th April, and is a youth community drama production based on the original 1979 musical.

Daisy Willson can be seen in ‘Urinetown’, at the Maddermarket Theatre, in Norwich from the 6th till the 9th April. Urinetown, based on the book by author Greg Kotis, is presented by Sands Ideas Theatre and promises to be an excellent show.

Over that same week, 7 Paston students can be found taking various roles in ‘Made in Dagenham’, a Norfolk Youth Music Theatre production on show at Norwich Playhouse. Josh Hinds, Robbie Nichols, Lydia Whiting, Matilda Bailes, Steven Logsdon, Ben Would and Imogen Osborn all take a variety of roles in this production based on the original true story and subsequent movie.

As all of these shows look to be a great success, we would like to take the opportunity to wish all the best to everyone involved.
