Far East Production - Long Way to London by Rob John - 27th - 30th April 2010
"He is dreaming. Today, like every day, he dreams he is already in London"
'Long Way To London' is a thought provoking play about an economic migrant who dreams of making a better life in England.
Black Box Theatre Co. (formed by BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts 2nd year students) present their final major project 'Long Way to London', a play written especially for them by Rob John who has had three of his plays performed on Radio 4 and writes regularly for BBC Schools Radio. His latest works have been performed by David Tennant, Anne-Marie Duff and Sir Timothy West. The cast of actors are all heading off to universities and drama schools in September.
'Long Way to London' will run for a week at Paston Theatre before touring Norfolk schools and Arts Centres from May 24th. The play is to be directed by Head of Expressive Arts Mandy McKenna and Performing Arts teacher Simon Thompson.
Tickets are on a strictly first come first serve basis. We expect the run to sell out so don't delay in booking.
