Regional golfing success - Wednesday 25th November 2009

Three Paston students took part in the British Colleges' golf tournament, held at Bawburgh Golf Club on Novemeber 25th. The students were Charlie Bright, David Clarke and Alexandra Hacking. The tournament attracted students from all over the Eastern Region including Luton SFC, Colchester SFC, East Norfolk SFC, SEEVIC (Benfleet, Essex), Hills Road SFC (Cambridge), Palmers SFC (Grays), Havering SFC and West Suffolk College (Bury St Edmunds).  
 
Paston's Charlie Bright qualified to represent the East Region in the National Championships and David and Alexandra only narrowly missed out on qualification. They have been included on the reserve list and so there is still a chance that may be called up.  
 
The Paston College team took 4th place overall at Bawburgh - a very creditable performance.
