Forthcoming Events 2009 - 10

 Higher Education Evening - Thursday 29th April 2010 at 7.30pm

This is an evening for parents of current students to give you some information about the important steps that lie ahead for students wanting to apply to university. We will be looking at the application process as well as giving you the chance to talk to the speakers and other members of staff about the particular issues that concern you.

This is usually a very well attended event so we have to limit the number of places to two per family and ask you to book by phoning Student Services on 01692 402334 ext 219

There will be parking in the College car park off Park Lane.

 Paston Art Show - Thursday 10th June and Saturday 12th June 2010

This year's Art Show will take place on Thursday 10th June 2010, with special guest Lisa Christensen, Director of Children's Services at Norfolk County Council. There will be another opportunity to see the show on Saturday 12th June 2010 from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

 

Paston Media Festival - Thursday 17th June 2010 at 7.30pm in the Paston Theatre

A festival to celebrate student work in moving image production. Examples of film, animation, documentary, drama and much more!

 

Students' Leaving Day - Wednesday 30th June.

Students' Leaving Day will be on Wednesday 30th June when you must return all books and equipment to subject teachers. Once you have had your Leavers Form signed by all of your teachers, the Library and IT Services you will be able to collect your £20 refundable materials deposit from the Finance Office.

 

INTRO 2010 Thursday 1st July and Friday 2nd July.

For those of you who have been offered a place at Paston for September 2010 this is your opportunity to meet the teachers and confirm your subject choices.  You will be timetabled for the courses we are holding for you and will have a discussion at the end of the two days about your choices.

New Parents Evening - Thursday 1st July 7.30pm

An event designed especially for parents of students who have been offered a place at Paston for September 2010. This is an introduction to life at Paston Sixth Form College, explains how Paston operates and what you can expect as a parent.

Further information will be sent with INTRO details.

 

Open Evening - Wednesday 7th July, 5.00 to 8.30pm

This is an opportunity for you and your parents to visit the college, talk to teachers and current students and look at work on display.
