Nelson Room and Library, Griffon Site, Paston Sixth Form College

Heritage Open Days (HODS) (www.heritageopendays.org.uk) is England’s biggest Heritage Festival which celebrates England’s fantastic history, architecture and culture, offering people the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences, all of which is free of charge.

As part of this, Paston Sixth Form College - Griffons Site will be open from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday 9 September 2017.

Visitors will have access to the Nelson Room containing a range of Nelson Memorabilia. Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson was the Paston School's most famous pupil! The Nelson Room was also used as a school room linked to the Paston School which was founded by Sir William Paston in 1606. The Library will also be open which contains a large portrait of Nelson and the Roll of Honour. You can also see a portrait of Sir William Paston in the main reception area of the College.
