Study Centre

The Study Centre has been created to help you organise homework, complete coursework and conduct research. Students often choose to bring their own devices into this area and utilise the college-wide Wi-Fi network. We have a team of staff who are on hand to help you individually where necessary. In addition, there is a dedicated Moodle page for independent study, giving tips and techniques for research and revision.

The new supervised study centre has been designed to help students organise homework and research, with a supervised study assistant on hand at all times to help and advise where necessary.  Whether students have a timetabled session or just want to use their free time to get on with extra study and revision, the Supervised Study Centre is here to help, support and build study skills that will be essential for university or careers.

Furthermore there is a dedicated Moodle page for Supervised Study, which is available at all times for students to gain insight on tips and techniques for revision and further research; including a list of the resources available to use within N0.1 & N0.2. To support the area the College has invested in a new cloud based Wi Fi system which allows even more students to bring in their own machines and access all of our IT learning systems.  With more open access learning space in the College, it provides a brilliant opportunity for students to study outside the classroom.
