Summary

Students will be studying either a Diploma or Extended Certificate in Business which will be determined on the need to study English and/or maths alongside.

Students will be required to have 4 GCSES at grade 3/D. Students who have not achieved grades 4/C in English and/or maths will have to continue to study these qualifications alongside the main qualification.

For the full Extended Certificate students will be required to complete two core units, a single mandatory unit and then a selection of additional units. Examples of the units that may be studied includes:
Enterprise in the Business World (core)
Finance for Business (core)
Principles of Marketing (mandatory)
Promoting a Brand
Principles of Customer Service
Providing Business Support
Business Online
We will look to get students involved with local businesses in and around North Walsham throughout the year to give students an insight as to how businesses work and hopefully get them involved in a small start-up business that may run alongside the weekly market that takes place in North Walsham.

Entry Requirements

Fees

If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 and over please contact the Advice Shop.
