Entry Requirements

You will need to achieve four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language, Maths and Art and Design (or an art-related subject).

How You Will Be Assessed

The Level 3 Extended Diploma is assessed through a series of practical and project-based units, which are externally assessed and scrutinised to ensure standards are maintained.

The Extended Diploma is equivalent to three A Levels and you will be graded at Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction*.

Course Progression

The design and structure of the course will allow you the opportunity to further extend your learning through working with local and national clients and Higher Education providers.

We always adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to all aspects of our teaching and learning so that you will have a broad portfolio of work and will be ready to enter higher level study or careers in the creative industries.

Where Your Course Can Take You

Paston College has successfully delivered BTEC courses for several years. We also work collaboratively with former students who have gone on to establish careers for themselves within the creative industries, along with Norwich University of the Arts to ensure that our courses prepare students well for their future careers in the industry.

Fees

If you are a UK or home- fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 years and over please contact the Advice Shop.
