Paston College Advice Shop

Our friendly and professional Advice Shop team offer expert advice, information and support on careers, finance, travel and much more.

The team are there to make sure you have all the support and advice you need to allow you to focus on your studies and make your time at Paston College as enjoyable as possible.

Advice and guidance for existing students

Due to the COVID-19 situation we have altered how you can access our free advice and guidance.

We are still available to discuss all your options and to help you make the right choice for your next step. We can still offer careers advice for students and advice on courses and careers available to you.  However we will be talking to you via the phone or internet for the immediate future.

A wide range of advice and guidance is available to existing Paston College students. You can book an appointment by email or call 01692 668080.

Students also have access to a range of current careers and progression resources including:

Advice and guidance for prospective students

A full range of advice and guidance is available by phone or email for prospective students to help you understand your options and make the right choices. 

Paston College Advice Shop opening times

Term time only: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.

Outside of term time, you can visit the City College Norwich Advice Shop. This is open throughout the holidays, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm by phone or for email conversations. 

Careers Strategy

In December 2017 the Department for Education released the Careers strategy and then subsequent guidance ‘Careers guidance: A guide for College’s and Sixth forms, released in February 2018. The documents outline a framework of expectations called the Gatsby Benchmarks with the intention of raising the standard of Careers Education, Information, Advice & Guidance across Schools and Colleges.
