Return of face-to-face Open Days

30th September 2021

We are looking forward to hosting our first face-to-face Open Days in 18 months, as we invite prospective students and their parents to visit us on Saturday 2nd October (10am-1pm) and Thursday 21st October (4.30pm-7.30pm).

Our staff, together with the Student Crew who will help show visitors around the College, can’t wait to share all that Paston College has to offer.

Corrienne Peasgood OBE, Principal of Paston College, said:

We can’t wait to resume our normal Open Days, as you can’t beat visiting the college to get a real feel for what it is like to be a student here and the fantastic opportunities, learning environment, and support we offer.

We know that some people are still understandably cautious about attending events. We have comprehensive Covid safety measures in place for our Open Days, which are being very carefully managed for the safety of everyone who comes to our sites.”

At the Open Days, prospective students can find out about the wide range of options available to school-leavers at Paston College.

Visitors can learn more about the College’s extensive A Level course offer, as well as its growing number of technical and vocational courses which are taught to the same high standards for which Paston College is renowned.

The vocational and technical courses available to school-leavers at Paston College now include Art and Design, Business, Computing, Creative Media, Health and Social Care, and Sport and Exercise Science.

Paston College’s high expectations and aspirations for its students, supported by the A+ Programme and Oxbridge Programme, see the majority of students going on to Higher Education – with around 25% accepted into the UK’s leading universities every year.

The Open Days will give prospective students:

  • A chance to speak to students and staff about life at Paston College and what to expect.
  • The opportunity to get advice on choosing the right course from the college’s expert advisers.
  • Tours of the attractive campus grounds, excellent teaching facilities, and study and social spaces for students.
  • Information on travel, finance, student support and how to apply.

There's no need to book ahead - Open Day visitors can just turn up on the day.
