Why Choose Paston Sixth Form?

History

Our college has been a place of learning for more than 400 years. Lord Nelson was the first of many highly-notable figures who studied here, in a school building which is still in use today.

Creativity

With dedicated photography, textiles and art studios, students have access to a wide range of creative spaces, including the Griffons Theatre, where they can produce plays, perform music and stage exciting events.

Class size

Our small student to teacher ratio compared to other colleges helps to ensure we strike the right balance between good group participation and individual attention.

Campus

We believe we have the most attractive sixth form college estate in Norfolk. A leafy oasis with large green open spaces, historic buildings and modern facilities.

Community

We specialise in education for 16 to 18-year-olds. Students comment on the friendships they make, the support they receive from teachers and other staff, and the impact our unique environment has on their sense of wellbeing.

Location

Located in the heart of North Walsham, our campus is surrounded by a variety of places to eat, alongside the on-site café. Students can also explore the town’s independent shops, offering sustainable fashion, pre-loved books and affordable materials for art and design projects.
