Summary
As one of our courses on our employment pathway, our Multi Enterprise course is the first step towards building the confidence, skills and knowledge required to consider a future within employment. This course will provide students with a range of practical learning opportunities which will promote independence and support the development of team working skills.
As part of your course you will cover the following subjects:
- Communication and social skill development
-Enterprise Projects including Horticulture
-Work Skills including work experience at out Pop Up Café
-Travel & Independence Skills
-Volunteering as a group
-Sport & Active Leisure - Functional Skills or GCSE English and Maths, at a level that is appropriate level for you

3 days a week for 1 year
Entry Requirements
This course is designed for students who are aged 16- 25 and who have additional needs and/or disabilities. There are no formal Entry requirements for this course, however most learners who access this course will have an EHCP.
Learning Outcomes
What will I learn?
Multi Enterprise aims to provide you with a personalised learning programme that uses subjects such as Enterprise and work skills to help prepare you for a future beyond college. As a student on the course, you will work as a team to create and run enterprise activities which will begin to broaden your experience of work and develop an understanding of the skills you will require for future employment.
Assessment
During the course you will work towards achieving an Entry Level 3 Gateway Qualification in Enterprise. Your completed units for the qualification will be marked and assessed.
Your tutor will set you targets that will help you meet your EHCP outcomes, and your progress will be reviewed against these.
English and Maths qualifications at a level which suit you, assessment will be via formal examination.
Progression
Students may progress onto the Ticket at Paston, Work Matters Supported Internships or MINT Supported Employment Agency
Fees
If you have an EHCP the college will apply for funding for you to access this course.
